We're located at 420 40th Street in Oakland, CA. Plenty of on street parking and MacArthur BART is a few blocks away.
8am-Noon we are by appointment only. We are open to the public from Noon(ish) to 7pm. Appointments are currently sold out but we get cancellations all the time so it's worth checking www.1234gorecords.shop . We also get no shows on the day and let in stand by customers when there is availability.
Everything that's leftover goes up on www.1234gorecords.shop at 5am Pacific time on Sunday April 19th. We ship worldwide and accommodate local pick up. Domestic orders over $75 ship free.

The In Store Shopping Guide!
Record Store Day is just a few days away! Here’s your guide to the day if you’re able to come by the shop!
From 8am to Noon on Saturday April 18th we are by appointment only. From Noon to 7pm we’re open to the public as normal.
We have TWO free posters for all attendees AND our RSD 2026 tote will be FREE if you spend over $200 at our shop that day while supplies last! If you want to guarantee yourself a totebag you can pre-order on our website by tapping the image here!
RSD releases are one copy per person on Record Store Day and as many as you want starting the day after.
If you do not have an appointment and want to come by before we open to the public at Noon we encourage you to line up to the right of our door going towards Oscar’s. DO NOT crowd the door itself. We get no shows and will be letting folks in when we’re able so if you want you’re welcome to try!
When we open at noon we will be metering entry so we can maintain a good amount of folks in the shop without it being overwhelming for anyone. You may have to wait a little while but the need to meter usually dissipates pretty quickly.
At this time all appointments have sold out but we do have cancellations from time to time so it’s worth checking out our website to see if the RSVP page has reappeared.
Those appointments being sold out DOES NOT mean we won’t have that thing you’re looking for when we open to the public at Noon. Every year we have dozens of people come by late in the afternoon after wasting their entire morning at one of the bigger stores who are amazed that we have everything they were looking for. We get great fill on our orders and we promise it’ll be worth coming by.
The Online Shopping Guide!
Anything we have leftover from RSD will be available on our website at 5am Pacific time on Sunday April 19th. This is the earliest any store is allowed to sell these items online and everything we've got will populate on our website right then but if you show up early you'll have to hit refresh.
We ship worldwide and accommodate local pick up. Any domestic orders over $75 ship free. If you spent the day elsewhere or forgot to grab something while you were here this is a great opportunity to snag what's left from your want list.
We start shipping these orders on Sunday the 19th as well HOWEVER please understand that we're receiving about a months worth of orders in a single day so yours may take a few days to process. We try to take care of local pick ups right away but please wait until you get a notification from us before coming down to pick up. If you're having it shipped we send tracking to the email you used at checkout the instant yours ships!
WE CANNOT HOLD OR TAKE PRE-ORDERS ANY RSD RECORDS FOR ANYONE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Doing so would be in violation of RSD rules and after 17 years of doing these things we're not about to get kicked out now!
